Food Truck Operator Team

ND State Parks– Food Truck Operator Team 

Seasonal Full-time – May through September (May apply for the whole summer or for as little as one month) 

Starting at $15-$17 per hour 

Are you passionate about the outdoors and enjoy working with people of all ages? The North Dakota Parks & Recreation Department is seeking a motivated and energetic Food Truck Operator to join our team! As the face of our State Parks Concession Trailer, you will travel across the state, providing delicious food and memorable experiences to park visitors. This position may operate as a “work camper” staying in their camper or RV at our State Parks at no charge. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Operate concession trailer equipment, including pizza ovens, microwaves, stoves, and snow cone machines. 

Prepare and serve food and beverages while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. 

Manage inventory and assist with merchandise sales, including restocking supplies as needed. 

Interact with park visitors, providing exceptional customer service and fostering a welcoming atmosphere. 

Set up and tear down the concession trailer at the beginning and end of each shift. 

Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. 

Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Work experience in customer service, computers, and a love for the outdoors 

Willingness to learn point-of-sale system. 

Valid Driver’s License
